PUERTO RICO – The Colgate women's tennis team began the Michael Schonbraun '96 Spring Trip on Monday against Connecticut.
The Huskies were tough competition and won two of the three doubles matches to win the point. The third match with
Kirstie Woodbury and
Katie Grant did not finish and Colgate was down one at 6-5 when it was called.
Connecticut swept all six singles matches and won the match 7-0. All contests were decided in straight sets.
The Raiders are in action on Wednesday against Cincinnati and then Colgate opens up Patriot League play this coming weekend at West Point.
