HAMILTON –
Every Colgate player to step on the court Tuesday night saw their name in the scorebook.

Colgate finished the game using its lucky number as all 13 players had at least a two under the total points category when it defeated Division III Morrisville State, 88-52.

What's even more impressive is that all 13 players pulled down at least one board in the contest as well.

Austin Tillotson led the Raiders with 15 points after going 7-for-11 from the floor and 1-for-3 from long. He also helped Colgate by handing out five assists and accounting for a game-high four steals.

Luke Roh went 6-of-7 from the charity stripe and 3-for-3 from the floor for his 12 points, while Damon Sherman-Newsome closed out the Raider players in double-digits with 11 points after drilling 3-of-7 from 3-point range.

On the boards it was again senior Ethan Jacobs , who matched his season-high with nine rebounds. Fellow classmate Matt McMullen added six boards of his own to the Raiders' final total.

Morrisville State hit the game's opening bucket but that would be the last time it would lead as the Raiders rallied for the next seven points to create a little gap between the teams.

Colgate held a comfortable 22–point advantage at the break and extended its lead to the largest of the game at 84-47 with four minutes left to play. The Raiders then prevented the Mustangs from scoring in the final two minutes and 30 seconds to secure the victory.

The Raiders are back on their home court Thursday when they welcome Binghamton for another non-conference game at 7 p.m.

Straight From The Source
• Colgate head coach Matt Langel: (on his team's first victory at home) "It was good to win. For me, it was more important that we played with excitement, paid attention to our details and that we shared the ball. We had 24 assists on 33 baskets so you have to feel good about that no matter who you're playing against."

(on every one of his players getting on the stats sheet) "We talk about respecting the game of basketball and obviously respecting your opposition every time you lace them up. For us, respecting the game is also about respecting your teammates. To be able to have the guys who log a lot of minutes go out there and get a big enough lead so that some of the guys who don't get an opportunity to play that much are able to see action. That allowed those guys a chance to log minutes of their own and score. Obviously you feel good about that as a coach as well."

Up Next
• Colgate now shifts its attention to nearby rival Binghamton on Thursday.
• The Raiders welcome the Bearcats, who are coming off a loss to Division II Caldwell on Monday night, in a 7 p.m. contest on Cotterell Court.
• These two teams have played each other 11 times prior to Thursday's contest with Colgate taking the last meeting a year ago 93-64 at Binghamton.
