CHUNGJU, South Korea – A successful medal haul for U.S. Rowing at the World Championships in South Korea included a Colgate connection with Bryan Pape '08 a big part of the men's lightweight eight's third-place finish.

Finishing third behind Italy and Australia was the U.S. crew of coxswain Michael Hwang (Seattle), Sean Gibel (Atlanta), Peter Gibson (Belmont, Mass.), Josh Getz (Ann Arbor, Mich.), Dorian Weber (Henley-on-Thames, UK), Brendan Mulvey (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.), Tobin McGee (Rye, N.Y.), David Morgenstern (Simsbury, Conn.), along with Pape (Simsbury, Conn.).
