The Colgate women's swimming and diving team wrapped up its two-meet weekend with a 159-141 loss at Cornell on Saturday afternoon.

The Raiders won six individual events in the meet and placed first and second in two events.

Lia Kunnapas and Ryan Marynowski led the way with a pair of wins apiece, while Kim Pilka swept both diving events. Kunnapas won both backstroke events. She swam to a first-place finish in the 100 backstroke with a time of 58.21 seconds and then clocked in at 2:03.95 to earn the victory in the 200 back. Marynowski got her wins in the two butterfly races. She won the 200 fly with a time of 2:04.24 and followed that with a first-place finish in the 100 fly at 57.31 seconds.

Pilka won both diving events and started with the 3-meter with a score of 297.31 and then earned the sweep with a score of 280.27,

Colgate had two rookies step up as Morgan Cohara and Lindsey Sagasta swam to wins. Cohara's came in the 1000 free with a time of 10:26.04, which was seven seconds ahead of Melanie Lockard, who took second at 10:33.74. Sagasta earned her victory in the 200 free with a time of 1:52.80.

The Raiders will be back in action on Jan. 18 with a visit to Binghamton.
