Raiders Win Two Silver Medals and a Bronze at ECAC Championship

The team finished third with two silver medals and one bronze.
WEST WINDSOR, N.J. (5/1/11) – The Colgate women's rowing team finished third, with two silver medals and one bronze, at the 2011 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Mid-Atlantic/New England (MANE) Regional Rowing Championships on Sunday at Mercer Lake.

The Raiders' Varsity Four finished second after Navy with a time of 8:08.83, just under 10 seconds behind the Midshipmen, while the Novice Eight also finished second, just under 10 seconds behind Delaware with a time of 7:44.74. The Varsity Eight finished third behind Navy and Delaware.

The Midshipmen claimed gold in three of the four events to win the overall point title and the Directors Cup (NCAA Standings) with 32 points. Colgate finished fifth in the cup with 13 points.
