– The Colgate University men's golf team finished 16th overall on Sunday at the Rutherford Intercollegiate hosted by Penn State University. The Raiders opened the tournament with a round of 334, before finishing with a 321 and 332, to shoot a 987 (333-321-332).

Penn State led from start to finish to win its 22nd Rutherford Intercollegiate title with a score of 880 (290-296-294), while Towson was second with 887 (300-300-287) and William & Mary third 896 (301-307-288). Army finished fourth 897 (301-294-302) to lead the Patriot League, while Navy (914) and Bucknell (933) finished 10th and 11th, respectively.

Josh Spellman led the Raiders with a score of 245 (83-77-85), while Ben Jessen put together a score of 246 (82-82-82) to finish second on the team. Scott Brayden and Chase Williams both finished with a 249, while Neil Thompson shot a 252.

The Raiders will be back in action this upcoming weekend, April 15-17 when they travel to Annapolis, Md. to compete in the Navy Spring Invitational.
