FIELD HOCKEY GAME CENTRAL
HAMILTON, N.Y. (10/27/11) - The Colgate field hockey team will be home to celebrate Senior Day for its final game on Tyler's Field this weekend. The Raiders will take on Bucknell at 11 a.m. in their final home match of the season.

TOURNAMENT SCENARIOS
Though the head-to-head matchups make the top seed and final spot in the Patriot League Tournament easy to decipher, there are still a wide range of scenarios at play to affect the seeding for the field. Lafayette takes the No. 1 seed with a win over American and the second seed with a loss, while the Eagles are at No. 1 by beating the Leopards and cannot fall below third with a defeat. If Bucknell loses either of its non-league games to No. 8 Penn State and No. 6 Syracuse, then the Eagles will not drop below the No. 2 seed. The Bison can still reach the No. 2 seed by winning all three of their games if American loses, and can also be No. 3, No. 4 or out of the tournament entirely with a loss to Colgate. Lehigh will be either No. 3 or No. 4 in the field, while Colgate can only get to No. 4 by beating Bucknell to make the field.
STANDINGS UPDATE
Colgate is 1-3 in the Patriot League and 6-10 overall and with a win over Bucknell, the Raiders would grab the fourth seed. Lafayette is currently undefeated at 4-0 in the league, followed by American (3-1), Lehigh (2-2), Bucknell (2-2), Colgate (1-3) and Holy Cross (0-4). Colgate ranks second in the league in saves, saves per game, defensive saves, and penalty corners, and was third in the league in shots, shots per game, and shutouts.
