HAMILTON, N.Y. (9/18/2010) – Colgate University senior
Ed Sheridan (Phillipsburg, N.J.) set a new personal-record Saturday to lead the men's cross country team at the Colgate Invitational.
Sheridan finished sixth overall with a time of 25:38, nearly two minutes faster then his time last season. Sophomore
Chris Johnson (Murry Hill, N.J.) was not far behind, finishing seventh with a personal-record time of 25:59.
Senior
Dan Gleason (Norwalk, Conn.), junior
Thomas Hedges (Princeton, N.J.), and sophomore
Tim Phelps (Portland, Ore.) rounded out the top five for the Raiders, hitting the tape in times of 26:54, 26:56, and 27:46, respectively.
The Raiders return to action on Oct. 1 at the Paul Short Invitational. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11a.m.
