Soccer Game Central
HAMILTON, N.Y. (11/3/10) – The Colgate women's soccer team will travel to West Point, N.Y. for the 2010 Patriot League Tournament. The defending champions enter the tournament as the fourth seed and will play No. 1 Army in the first semifinal game on Friday, Nov. 5 at 4 p.m.
The Raiders (6-11-1) completed their regular season with a conference record of 3-3-1, giving them 10 points. The team was able to come back from two league losses to Navy and Lehigh, and win its next three games against Lafayette, American and Holy Cross which helped it jump above American (9pts) and Navy (8pts) for the fourth seed.
ALL-PATRIOT LEAGUE SELECTIONS
Senior defender and co-captain
Calista Victor (Seattle, Wash.), sophomore forward
Jillian Kinter (Newburyport, Mass.) and sophomore midfielder/forward
Alyssa Manoogian (Peabody, Mass.) were named to the All-Patriot League teams for the 2010 season. Victor and Kinter were picked to the first team while Manoogian was a second team selection.
RAIDERS' OFFENSE
The team has had multiple players contribute to its scoring, with eight players having scored at least one goal this season and ten players having accumulated at least one point. Kinter and Manoogian both have a team-high 13 points each, with Kinter leading the Raiders in goals (6) and Manoogian leading the assists category with five.

Anna Baldwin (Woodbury, Conn.) and junior midfielder
Maddie Malone (Glen Ridge, N.J.) have also been large contributors to the team's offense with six points each. Baldwin has two goals and two assists while Malone has one goal and four assists.
Victor, sophomore
Danielle Wessler (Port Republic, N.J.) and freshmen
Christy Patterson (Kenilworth, Ill.) and
Ashley Smith (Newport Beach, Calif.), have all contributed one goal for the Raiders while sophomores
Elise Amioka (South Berwick, Maine) and
Sarah Henderson (Rochester, N.Y) have added an assist each.
LAST MEETING
The teams last met two weeks ago in the Raiders' final home game of the season. The match ended in a 0-0 double overtime tie, with both teams failing to find the back of the net. Colgate then went on to suffer a setback to Bucknell while the Black Knights went on to defeat Holy Cross and secure the No. 1 seed in the tournament.
SCOUTING ARMY
The Black Knights completed their regular season with a record of 13-3-3. Its only losses were to Sacred Heart, Brown and Fordham. The team went undefeated in league play, completing the season with a 4-0-2 conference record.
Army will go into this game led by freshmen Kim An and Molly McGuigan. An has 20 points off nine goals and two assists, which earned her the 2010 Patriot League Rookie of the Year award, while her classmate McGuigan, who was named the league's Defensive Player of the Year, has two points off one goal.
