, N.Y. (4/18/09) – Colgate University seniors Brandon Corp (Chittenango, N.Y.) and Kevin Colleluori (Bethpage, N.Y.) combined for 10 points during their final home game, but it wasn't enough as the Raiders fell to No. 18 Bucknell 19-11 Saturday afternoon.

The win gives Bucknell the No.1 seed and home field advantage in the four-team Patriot League Tournament, while Colgate will be the No. 2 seed and face No. 3 Navy in the semifinals.

Corp extended his scoring streak to 46-games with three goals and two assists, while Colleluori added four goals and an assist for a five-point outing.

Colgate (9-4, 5-1) had a 6-5 lead after Colleluori recorded his third goal of the game with 10:09 remaining in the second quarter, but the Bison responded with a 12-2 run over the next two periods to give the Raiders their first home loss of the season and snap an eight-game winning streak.

The Raiders scored first in a very active first quarter as Corp registered his 31st of the season at the 12:35 mark, and extended it a minute later when junior Zach Craumer (Greenwich, Conn.) recorded his 14th of the season. Bucknell answered back with a pair of goals from Charlie Streep to tie the game 2-2 at 8:50. Freshman Chris Zielinski (Lancaster, Pa.) gave the Raiders a 3-2 lead off his eighth goal of the season with 6:05 remaining. The Bison answered right back to tie the game 3-3 seven seconds later as Tim Brandau scored after Jake Clarke won a clean face-off. Streep and Colleluori then exchanged goals to close the first quarter in a 4-4 tie.

After falling behind 5-4 early in the second period Colleluori recorded back-to-back goals, both assisted by senior Nick Monastero (Bohemia, N.Y.) to give Colgate a 6-5 lead with 10:09 remaining. The Bison answered with three straight goals to take their first two-goal lead of the day 8-6 with 3:05 remaining. Monastero again connected with Colleluori for the third time in the quarter to trim the Bucknell lead to 8-7, but the Bison would score with one tick remaining on the clock to take a 9-7 lead into halftime.

Junior Tim Harrington (Lutherville, Md.) tallied five stops in goal for Colgate, while Nick Sciubba posted 13 saves for the Bison.
