HAMILTON, N.Y. (10/12/09) – Colgate University senior Paul Mancuso (Somers, N.Y.) was named the Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week following his performance against Princeton. This is the fifth straight week that a Colgate student-athlete has claimed an award.

Mancuso blocked a 36-yard field goal attempt to preserve a scoreless tie in the first quarter of the game. Colgate went on to win, 21-14 in double overtime. It was the first field goal block of the season for the Raiders and one of two on the night. Mancuso also had four tackles and a sack in the game.

No. 17 Colgate (6-0, 1-0) will travel to Georgetown Saturday, Oct. 17. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. at Multi-Sport Field. The Raiders topped Georgetown 45-12 in 2007 and have a 6-0 record against the Hoyas all-time.
