Colgate Football Signing Day Central
HAMILTON — The Colgate University football program bolstered its roster during the early signing period, as Fred '50 and Marilyn Dunlap Head Football Coach
Curt Fitzpatrick announced the addition of 20 student-athletes who signed their national letters of intent to play for the Raiders.
The incoming class of soon-to-be Raiders hail from eight different states and cover eight positions on the field – 12 on offense and eight on defense. They will join a program coming off a 5-7 season including a 3-4 Patriot League record in Fitzpatrick's first season at the helm.
Colgate under offensive architect Fitzpatrick shattered the program record for passing touchdowns in a season with 29, plus their 3,294 passing yards were their most in a decade. Colgate racked up 400+ yards of total offense six times, matching their best single-season production since 2016.
"I am fired up to add this outstanding group of student-athletes to our program next fall," Fitzpatrick said. "Every one of the young men in our 2026 class exhibit excellence on the playing field, in the classroom, and in their communities - which will no doubt enhance the culture of our program in all arenas as we build on the foundation laid in the 2025 season.
"Our coaching staff did a wonderful job identifying talented prospects that sought to be challenged both athletically and academically, which is what it takes to thrive here at Colgate University."
