Colgate University Athletics

Robert Kelley is in his second season as a volunteer assistant coach at Colgate. He will assist Baker and Pintilie in everyday practices and games.

Kelley played club volleyball when he was in high school in Omaha, Neb. A defensive specialist and setter, he helped lead the squad to the U.S. Junior Nationals.

He attended Nebraska University, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and biology in 1999. While in Lincoln, Kelley assisted in running and organizing a volleyball league. He moved to Sherburne, N.Y. in the spring of 2005 and continues to stay active in the game through a summer league in Hamilton. Kelley also offers private volleyball lessons to people in the area. Kelley currently works in the field of vaccine research in Sherburne, N.Y.
