Sophomore Year (2009-10): Outdoor Track: Competed in the 5,000m and 10,000m run. At the Princeton Larry Ellis Friday Night Races, Cattano ran a season-best of 17:48.80 in the 5000m. She ran a season-best of 37:06.10 in the 10,000m run at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic.
Indoor Track: Competed in distance races for the Raiders. At the Patriot League Championships ran a season-best 18:03.07 in the 5,000m.
Freshman Year (2008-09): Outdoor Track: Competed in the distance events for the Raiders. Ran a season-best time of 18:51.29 in the 5,000m at the Sam Howell Invitational and posted a season-best time of 39:35.77 in the 10,000m run at the Bison Classic.
Indoor Track: Competed in two distance events. Ran a season-best time of 11:15.92 in the 3,000m run at the Syracuse Welcome Back Invite. Cattano clocked a season-best time of 19:09.33 in the 5,000 at the Lafayette/Rider Winter Games.
Before Colgate: Earned three letters in cross country and five in indoor and outdoor track at New Providence High School and helped lead the Pioneers to three consecutive undefeated cross country seasons. Her track teams also were undefeated during her scholastic career. Cattano's cross country team won the Group I Sectional and Mountain Valley Conference Valley Division titles in 2007. She also guided the tea to top honors in the Stewart Memorial Championship Varsity C race as a senior and as a junior she helped the Pioneers to the Group II Sectional and Mountain Valley Conference titles. Her track team captured the Mountain Valley Conference championships her junior and senior seasons and the Group I Sectional title in 2008. Cattano earned all-state first team honors for Group I as a senior and garnered third-team Group II accolades in 2006. She was named to the all-Mountain Valley Conference team all four years for cross country and track and voted to the all-Union County first team in 2007 and second team in 2006 for cross country. Cattano was honored as the Mountain Valley Outstanding Performer for both cross country and track as a senior. She earned all-Union County second team recognition for indoor track in 2007 and third-team honors for the outdoor season. Captured third-team accolades in both as a senior. Awarded third-team all-state in indoor track in 2007 and 2008 and second team outdoors in 2008. Earned a total of five Most Valuable Player awards and was voted the Most Improved Player for 2005 outdoor track. Cattano was team captain as a junior for cross country. Was a member of the National Honor Society.
