Senior Year (2013-14): Played in 19 matches as a senior ... named first team All-Patriot League for the fourth time ... went 12-5 in singles play ... posted 12 or more singles victories in each season as the top singles player on the Raiders ... also played in the top doubles spot and went 8-11 overall ... became only the third player all-time to make a postseason first team all four years at Colgate ... led the Raiders to their first win over Navy since 2006 as he won in both doubles and singles. 

Junior Year (2012-13): Appeared in 20 singles matches and 19 doubles matches ... named All-Patriot League First Team for the third time ... went 12-8 in singles play ... had an 8-11 record in doubles play with one unfinished game.

Sophomore Year (2011-12): Named first team All-Patriot League for the second-straight season ... went 14-7 from the top spot in the singles lineup ... won 10-straight matches at one point during the season ... finished with a 2-3 mark in conference play ... appeared in the second spot in the doubles lineup with Sean Spellberg and went 13-8 overall and had a 1-4 mark in conference play ... did play in the top spot once and earned a win.

Freshman Year (2010-11): Became only the second Raider in the history of the tennis program to earn rookie of the year honors and first since Reid Hagmann in 2002 ... was also selected to the All-Patriot League First Team ... posted a 12-6 overall singles mark during the season, including a 4-1 record against League opponents ... picked up impressive victories over Army freshman Asika Isoh, Bucknell junior Gregg Cohenca, Lafayette senior Justin Haar and List. Isoh and Cohenca, along with List, were all first-team honorees ... went 8-7 in doubles action at Nos. 2 and 3 with Sean Spellberg, and finished with a 2-4 mark against League tandems.

Before Colgate: Was named a three-star recruit by TennisRecruiting.net and rated 158th nationally for the Class of 2010 ... played four years of tennis at the top singles spot for North Shore Country Day in the Independent School League ... team captain as a senior ... ranked 22nd in the Great Lakes region and seventh in the state of Illinois ... started his high school career with top-four finishes in sectionals and placed in the top-three in the conference ... selected to the Illinois State team as a sophomore ... named to the All-Area North Stars Tennis Team during his career.

Personal: Luke Morgan Gensburg...is the son of Lane and Simona Gensburg ... has one sister, Danielle ... was an Illinois State Scholar and editor of the school newspaper ... participated in Model United Nations at NSCD... majoring in political science.
