Sophomore Year (2004-05): Innes had a breakout fall season, securing a spot in the starting lineup ... he posted a 3-4 singles record, competing at No. 5 and No. 6 singles ... after losing three of his first four matches, Innes rebounded to make the semifinals of the No. 8 flight at the Northeast Invitational ... teamed up Tyler Deck at No. 3 doubles ... the duo had a 3-4 record in the fall season, scoring a key win over Buffalo at the Volkl Invitational.
Freshman Year (2003-04): Innes saw limited action his freshman season, winning his only doubles match against Vermont ... Innes made great strides during the spring semester to become an important reserve for Colgate ... he competed in one doubles match for the Raiders, teaming with ex-high school teammate Marshall Wheeler for an 8-5 victory at No. 3 doubles against the University of Vermont ... he was honored with the team’s Most Improved Player Award for 2004.
