Senior Year (2012-13): Appered in 14 doubles matches and 13 singles matches...had a winning season in both doubles and singles play with 8-6 record in doubles and 7-6 in singles play.

Junior Year (2011-12): Played mostly in the third spot in the lineup for the Raiders with a couple of matches at fourth spot and a win in the second position in singles ... went 8-10 overall in singles play ... was teamed with Parker Lewis at the top spot in doubles play ... went 9-11 during the season and played once in the third spot.

Sophomore Year (2010-11): Appeared at the second and third spot during the dual season in the starting singles lineup ... played in all three spots with three different teammates in doubles play ... went 5-5 at the third spot in singles ... went 5-9 overall ... had a 4-6 mark at the second spot in doubles with Parker Lewis ... had a 4-3 record, including at 2-0 mark at the top spot with other teammates.

Freshman Year (2009-10): Played at the third and fourth spot in dual matches in his first campaign with the Raiders ... earned the most singles wins on the team with 10 as he went 10-5 on the year ... all 10 victories came at the fourth position ... had a 10-4 record at No. 4 and 0-1 at No. 3 ... started playing doubles late in the season with Harry Jewett ... posted a 6-1 mark for the best winning percentage in doubles on the team.

Before Colgate: Graduated from Landon high school in 2009 … four-year letterwinner in tennis … was team captain his senior season … named all I.A.C his junior and senior years … also named Landon’s most valuable player in 2008 and 2009 … also lettered in swimming.
 
Personal: John Alexander Goldstein was born in Bethesda, Md., to Robert and Ann Goldstein … has two sisters.
