Nick Rappuhn was named Athletics Communications Assistant in August 2022.

Rappuhn arrives in Hamilton as a recent graduate of Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Mich., where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a minor in Communications. 

During his undergraduate experience, Rappuhn played an important role in NMU’s Athletics Communications department working with the women’s basketball team and two nationally-ranked swim and dive teams that saw one swimmer capture a national championship.

Rappuhn was named National student runner-up for the 2021-22 CoSIDA Fred Stabley Sr. Writing Contest for a feature story he wrote on women's basketball. 

Rappuhn is from Saginaw, Mich., but currently resides in the small town of Sherrill, N.Y., with his fiance Hope and their puppy Lucie.Â
