Bubby Leasure begins his first season on the Colgate men's soccer staff. His main responsibility is training and developing the goalkeepers.

Leasure has five years of coaching various levels of soccer under his belt and most recently was the first assistant for the women’s soccer program at Bowling Green. There, he was responsible for planning, developing, and executing practice sessions. He also organized community service projects for the team within the community. 
 
Prior to Bowling Green, Leasure was the first assistant for the women’s soccer team at Hartwick for the 2011-12 season, and the associate head women’s soccer coach at Olivet from 2008-10. During his tenure with the women’s soccer program at Olivet, he was also the first assistant with the men’s soccer team from 2008-09.
 
While at Olivet, Leasure coached the women’s soccer program to a second-best record in program history when the squad went 13-5-2 in 2010, after a 3-15-1 mark the previous season. On the men’s side, Leasure trained Olivet’s men’s starting goalkeeper Ethan Felsing to All-Michigan Intercollegiate First Team honors for two consecutive seasons.
 
Leasure has demonstrated his exceptional ability to effectively communicate and motivate young student-athletes by making every effort to build a strong and respectful team atmosphere. He also excels at scouting and recruiting players with exceptional soccer knowledge and abilities. Leasure is committed to building a “team first” attitude through hard work, accountability, balance, and leadership. 

A 2000 graduate in Criminal Justice from the University of South Florida, Leasure was a four-year member of the men’s soccer program. He was named Conference USA Player of the Week on two separate occasions.
