Austin Gardner moves into the role of student-assistant manager this season after one year as a Raider squad member. The Lexington, Kentucky, native is assisting the coaching staff in all aspects of team support.
Gardner played one season with the Raiders and was named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. Before arriving at Colgate, Gardner was a three-year captain for Henry Clay High School who twice was named All-State First Team. He posted career totals of 89 goals, 107 assists and 220 ground balls in helping the Blue Devils to a state title as a junior and state runnerup finish as a senior.
