Senior Year (2019-20)

Stats: Appeared in 34 of 36 games for the Raiders prior to the cancellation of the ECAC Tournament … recorded 10 points by five goals and five assists … scored one game-winning goal and one game-tying goal … tallied 38 shots on goal and 24 blocked shots.
Best Games: Scored the overtime game-winner against Brown in the First Round of the ECAC Tournament (March 7) for a 3-2 victory and to seal the sweep … scored with 2.7 seconds remaining in regulation against then-No. 7 Clarkson to force overtime in a 1-1 tie … behind a pair of apples, had a multi-point performance in the 4-1 win at St. Lawrence (Nov. 15) … finished with a season-best plus-3 rating on the ice and one goal in the 4-3 overtime win at then-No. 9/12 Harvard (Jan. 24) … scored the lone Colgate goal against Brown (Nov. 9) … also scored in the 3-2 win at Union (Jan. 10) … tallied a season-high of three blocked shots in the scoreless tie at then-No. 18 UMass Lowell (Oct. 19) … recorded a season-high of three shots on goal vs. then-No. 12/13 Northeastern (Nov. 30) at the Friendship Four.

Junior Year (2018-19)
Stats: Played in all 36 games for the Raiders … recorded four goals and three assists for seven points … tallied 52 shots on goal and led all Colgate forwards with his 31 blocked shots … finished with a positive plus/minus rating in four games.
Best Games: Scored in the season opening win against New Hampshire (Oct. 12) … also notched a goal in the 4-3 win at Princeton (Jan. 5) … marked goals at Niagara (Dec. 7) and at then-No. 13 Clarkson (March 1) … assisted on the game-winning goals against both St. Lawrence (Feb. 8) and against then-No. 20 Union (Feb. 22) … recorded a career-high of six shots on goal in the 5-4 win at then-No. 3 Quinnipiac (Jan. 4) … tallied a season-high of three blocked shots on four occasions and had three or more shots on goal in five games.

Stats: Played in 30 of Colgate’s 40 games…Tallied career-highs of four assists and five points…Added a goal early in the season…Recorded 30 shots on goal…Three of Penner’s five points came in ECAC Hockey play.
Best Games: Scored his only goal of the season and blocked three shots in a 1-1 tie vs. Arizona State on Oct. 28…Blocked three shots and had a season-high three shots on goal at St. Lawrence on Feb. 9…Tallied assists vs. Dartmouth (Nov. 11), at Western Michigan (Nov. 24), at Clarkson (Feb. 10) and at Rensselaer (Feb. 24).

Freshman Year (2016-17)

Stats: Played in 31 of 37 games for the Raiders...Scored two goals and added one assist for three points...Provided valuable contributions at center, winning 54.1 percent of faceoffs and 206 total...Scored one power-play goal...Committed just two penalties...Second among Colgate forwards with 30 blocked shots...Had three or more blocked shots four times.
Best Games: Scored first career goal against Maine in a 2-2 tie (Oct. 28)..Blocked three shots in three games at Harvard (Nov. 4), at Yale (Nov. 11) and at Providence (Nov. 26)...Tallied his first career assist against Clarkson and blocked four shots in the game (Jan. 21)...Scored second career goal at Union (Feb. 4).

Played with the Steinbach Pistons of the MJHL in three seasons from 2013-2016…Graduated from College Sturgeon Heights Collegiate in 2013.
