Biography

Senior Year (2015-16): Played in all 37 games…Finished the season with one goal and seven assists…Ranked third on the team for the season in blocks with 41…Scored his lone goal in win at Princeton (Feb. 5)…Shared Dan Coley “Barrel” Award with teammate Jake Kulevich for team’s best defensemen…Ended his career appearing in 149 games, and finishing with 31 total points…Named to the Dean’s List and Raider Academic Honor Roll for the fall semester.


Junior Year (2014-15): Appeared in 37 games … Tallied nine points on two goals and seven assists … Ranked fourth on team in blocked shots (45) … Was sixth on team in plus/minus rating (+10) … Member of Raider blueline that finished season sixth nationally in scoring defense (2.13) … Recorded primary assist on game-winning goal in Colgate’s 4-3 victory over St. Lawrence in ECAC Hockey Semifinals (March 20) … Appeared in his 100th game in a Colgate uniform at Cornell (Jan. 31) … Co-recipient of team’s Dan Coley "Barrel" Award, given to team’s best defensemen … Named to Raider Academic Honor Roll for fall semester.


Sophomore Year (2013-14): Played in all 39 games for the Raiders ... posted a nine points on three goals and six assists and all three were career highs ... netted a power play goal, shorthanded goal and had a gamewinner ... the power play goals and gamewinner came in a 2-1 win against St. Lawrence in the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals ... all three goals during the season came against the Saints ... had a three-game point streak with assistas against Harvard (Jan. 18), Clarkson (Jan. 24) and St. Lawrence (Jan. 25) ... seven of his nine points came in league play ... named to ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team.

Freshman Year (2012-13): Saw action in 36 games on the blueline ... tallied five points on a goal and four assists ... tallied his first collegiate goal against Yale on Jan. 26 in a 4-1 win ... the goal was the gamewinner ... recorded his first collegiate point with an assist in his first game of the year against Niagara in a 10-2 win on Oct. 9 ... had assists versus Clarkson on Dec. 1 and Feb. 1, while adding his fourth of the year against Dartmouth on Feb. 16 ... had a +2 with 56 shots and 39 blocks. 

Before Colgate: Played four seasons for the Cumberland Grads of the Central Canadian Hockey League and was team captain during the 2011-12 season ... amassed 95 points in 227 games played with 20 goals and 75 assists from the blueline ... had 24 points with seven goals and 17 helpers in his final season ... competed in the World Junior A Challenge for Canada East and was a silver medalist ... CCHL First Team All-Star in 2011-12 ... CCHL Defenseman of the Tournament during the Junior A Challenge ... member of the Robinson All-Start Team in the 2011-12 Central Canada Cup All-Star Challenge ... attended A.Y. Jackson Secondary School and also played volleyball.
