Senior Year (2022-23)
  • Played in all 40 of Colgate’s games
  • Finished third on the team in points (28), tied for third in goals (11), and fourth in assists (17)
  • Finished second in ECACH in shots (144) and was third in shots per game (3.60)
  • Scored three game-winning goals (tied for most on team), three power play goals, and two shorthanded goals

Sophomore Year (2020-21)
  • Appeared in 21 of the season’s 22 games for the Raiders and recorded four points by one goal and three assists
  • Tallied 48 shots on goal, 11 blocked shots, and a team-leading 38 penalty minutes.
  • Scored in the 5-4 win at Clarkson (Dec. 23)
  • Went on a two-game point streak by following it up with an assist against RIT (Dec. 29)

Freshman Year (2019-20)
  • Appeared in 35 of 36 games for the Raiders prior to the cancellation of the ECAC Tournament and topped the freshman class by recording 18 points by seven goals and team-high of 11 assists
  • His 18 points ranked third-most of the team and he also finished with a team-leading plus-8 rating on the ice
  • Tallied 49 shots on goal, along with 14 blocked shots
  • Recorded one game-winning goal and two power play goals

  • Scored first career goal in the 4-3 overtime win at UMass Lowell (Oct. 18)
  • Finished with a season-high plus-3 rating on the ice along with one goal and one assist at Dartmouth (Dec. 6)
  • Scored the game-winning goal in the 4-1 win at St. Lawrence (Nov. 15) and earned the game-tying goal in a 3-3 overtime tie at then-No. 7/8 Providence (Nov. 1)
  • Notched a power play goal and an assist in the 3-1 win over Princeton (Nov. 30) at the Friendship Four
  • Tallied a pair of apples in the 4-0 shutout over Union (Feb. 15)
  • Closed out the season on a two-game point streak behind an assist each night in the sweep of Brown in the First Round of the ECAC Tournament (March 6-7)
  • Named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week on Dec. 9, 2019 after a three-point weekend at Dartmouth and Harvard ... named to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team
Before Colgate
Played three seasons with the Canmore Eagles of the AJHL ... a 2016 graduate of Central Memorial High School where he played hockey.
Stats: Marked 57 goals and 100 assists for 157 points in 176 games played with the Eagles … a standout season, Young recently tallied 65 points by 27 goals and 38 assists in the 2018-19 season's 57 games played by the Eagles… previously marked 39 points in 32 games played with the Calgary Royals Midget AAA program in the 2015-16 season.
Honors: Served as team captain of the Eagles for the 2018-19 season ... earned the 2017 Community Award ... named 2018 Canmore MVP ... was the 2018 Top Scorer ... named Most Dedicated in 2019.
