Colgate University Athletics

Paul McAvoy joined the Colgate Men's Hockey staff as a volunteer assistant coach in January 2023.

McAvoy reunited with the Raiders after a stellar five-year playing stint at Colgate. He finished his collegiate career with 41 points by 20 goals and 21 assists after suiting up for 154 games.  McAvoy was a two-year captain for the Raiders and was a four-time ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team selection. 

He graduated from Colgate in May 2021 with bachelor's degrees in Psychological Science and English.
