Kevin Curley is in his eighth season as a full-time assistant with the men¹s basketball program.
Curley is responsible for serving as the national recruiting coordinator for the program and is the Director of Player Development. He also oversees the NCAA compliance guidelines for the staff and coordinates activities and coorspondence for the Hardwood Club, Colgate¹s support group for men¹s basketball. On the court Curley works with the guards.
Curley came from Bethany (WV) College where he spent four years as an assistant coach. As the only assistant coach, his primary responsibilities included recruiting, scouting, player development and assisting in the programs day-to-day operations.
Curley played at Penn State-Altoona from 1989-91, where he was named captain his second year. His coaching career began in 1991 at the State College Area School District. In his three years there, he assisted with the varsity team and was the junior high boy¹s head coach.

A 1994 graduate of Penn State University, Curley received his Bachelor¹s Degree in Labor and Industrial Relations. In 1996, he earned his Master¹s Degree in Physical Education from West Virginia University. His younger brother, Greg, played basketball at Allegheny College and is currently the head coach at Juniata College, while his uncle, Tim, is the Director of Athletics at Penn State University.

Curley is married to the former Allison Russin and they reside in Madison.
