Justin Cayea joined the Colgate men’s basketball staff as the team’s video coordinator prior to the 2017-18 season.
Cayea spent the summer of 2017 as an operations intern with the Raiders. He helped manage all team recruiting data bases, assisted in organizing recruiting visits, completed an offensive and defensive efficiency project and helped oversee all summer camp operations.
Prior to his time in Hamilton, Cayea spend two seasons as a student operations assistant with the Saint Leo University men’s basketball team. While with Saint Leo, Cayea was responsible for managing team operations, assisting in player development, directing team travel operations and overseeing student workers.
Cayea has completed numerous internships, including stints with Cooperstown Baseball World, Tompkins Cortland Community College and the Oneonta Outlaws baseball team.
Cayea graduated in May 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management and administration from Saint Leo University. A Central New York native, he attended Oneonta Senior High School.
