Ian Pace was named wide receivers coach in August 2023 after transitioning from tight ends coach in March of 2023. 


Pace’s inaugural season with the Raiders was wildly successful, as Treyvhon Saunders was honored with an All-Patriot League First-Team wide receiver selection under Pace’s leadership in 2023. Additionally, Max Hurleman garnered First-Team Special Teams Non-Specialist honors. Saunders was the first Raider wide receiver to earn all-league honors since 2018, finishing the 2023 season ranking second in the conference with 68 receptions and 6.2 catches per game. Saunders 68 receptions rank 6th best in school history and his 859 receiving yards were the 10th most in Raider football history. Saunders marked Pace’s eighth consecutive All-Patriot League Selection in his eighth Patriot League season. Freshman Winston Moore led all Patriot League freshmen in receptions & receiving yards. The Raider offense passed for 2,146 yards in 2023 a 411-yard improvement from 2022 while also increasing the offense's total points per game to 22.28.
 
Pace most recently served as the head football coach for the 2022 season at Somerville High School, where he led the Pioneers to the New Jersey state playoffs.
  
Before Somerville, Pace spent the 2021-22 seasons at St. John Fisher University as the associate head coach and offensive coordinator. Pace coached the offensive line, running backs & quarterbacks for the Cardinals. The St. John Fisher offense ranked second in the Empire 8 in passing TD’s and third in points per game. Pace spent the 20120-21 season at Centre College as the run game coordinator and offensive line coach, and the 2019-20 seasons as the quality control coordinator and tight ends coach at FBS powerhouse Mississippi State where he coached former Indianapolis Colt, Farrod Green. The Bulldogs earned an appearance in the 2019 Music City Bowl.
 
Pace spent seven seasons at Patriot League opponent Fordham University, starting as the Director of Football Operations in 2013 before transitioning into recruiting coordinator and tight ends coach from 2013-19. During that time Pace coached seven consecutive All-Patriot League selections at tight end, producing three All-Americans and former NFL players: Dan Light (Denver Broncos), Phazahn Odom (Pittsburgh Steelers), and Isaiah Searight (Tampa Bay Buccaneers & New York Giants). Pace was a member of the 2014 Patriot League Champions and NCAA playoff participant in 2013, 2014 and 2015. 
 
Pace started his post-bachelor career as an offensive assistant graduate at Bowling Green State University. During his time the Falcons appeared in the 2009 Humanitarian Bowl & 2012 Military Bowl. Additionally, Pace was honored as Footballscoop.com Graduate Assistant of the Day on May 17th, 2012.
 
A four-year member & three-year starter on the offensive line. Pace started at left guard, left tackle & right tackle during his career, and started on the 2007 Patriot League championship team. Pace received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Fordham University & his Master of Education from Bowling Green in 2012
