Before Colgate
Saunders comes to Colgate after a stellar career at Westerville South High School. She posted a .469 batting average to go with an impressive .552 on-base percentage while being named team captain her senior campaign. Saunders earned First Team All-OCC honors and was named Team Most Valuable Player after her strong senior year. Off the field, Saunders was on the Academic Honor Roll for all four years at Westerville South and won the United States Army Reserve Scholar-Athlete Award.
