Biography

Senior Year (2015-16): Played in all 37 games for the Raiders…Ranked second on the team with a total of 34 points…Recorded 13 goals, 21 assists and 27 blocks…Earned Co-Coaches Award honors with his brother at team banquet…Was named ECAC Player of the Week in March for performance during weekend sweep of RPI and Union…Scored two goals in first period  in 2-0 victory over RPI (Feb. 26)…Finished career with 115 total points…Named to the Dean’s List and the Raider Academic Honor Roll for the fall semester.

Junior Year (2014-15): Saw playing time in 23 contests … Tied for fifth on team in scoring with 20 points … Tied for sixth with 13 assists … Also contributed seven goals … Tallied multiple points on four occasions … Put together seven-game point-scoring streak between Feb. 14-March 14 …  Second on team and 61st in the nation in faceoff percentage (.547) … Authored game-winning goals in road victories against ECAC foes Clarkson (Jan. 10) and Union (Jan. 17) … Tallied two assists in series-clinching victory over Dartmouth in ECAC Quarterfinals (March 14) … Named to Raider Academic Honor Roll for fall semester.

Sophomore Year (2013-14): Saw action in 37 games and was second on the team in points with 30 ... second in goals as well with 14 on the year ... five of the 14 goals came on the power play and he had 12 in ECAC Hockey, which led the Raiders ... had 10 multi-point games and had a season-long six-game point streak, which totaled nine points ... posted multi-goal games in three games, Union (Nov. 8),St. Lawrence (Nov. 15) and Quinnipiac (Feb. 22) ... named to ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team ... after the season, invited to and participated in NHL Developmental Camp conducted by the Detroit Red Wings.

Freshmen Year (2012-13): Appeared in all 36 games in his first season and led the Raiders in points with 31 on the year with 13 goals and 18 assists ... first rookie to lead the team in points since 2004-05 ... named to the ECAC Hockey All-Rookie Team ... the 13 goals were second on the team and 18 assists was as well ... tied with teammate Kyle Baun for the team lead in power play goals with seven ... had 15 points in league with seven goals and eight assists ... had eight multi-point games ... recorded a season-long seven-game point streak with nine points during the stretch ... netted a season-high two goals against UMass on Dec. 7 ... was a finalist for ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Year and was named the first Hogan Hockey/ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Month in 2012-13. 

Before Colgate: Played last season with the Cornwall Colts of the Central Canadian Hockey League ... finished his career with 250 points for the Colts ... had a 35-goal season and 108 points in 2010-11, including 21 points in the postseason ... had 81 points in his final season with the Colts, helping guide them to the championships series against Nepean ... played twice in the World Junior A Challenge for Team Canada East U19 ... attended Car-Lan District High School and played golf, soccer, volleyball and basketball.

Personal: Tylor Robert Spink was born in Ottawa, Ont., and is the son of Kenton and Kathy Spink ... has two brothers, including twin brother Tyson who plays for the Raiders.
