Biography

Senior Year (2015-16): Captain…Appeared in all 37 games in his final season…Finished third on the team with 22 total points…Ranked second with 13 goals…Added nine assists and 25 blocks…Scored first career hat trick in the Raiders’ 7-9 loss to Mercyhurst (Oct. 4)…Recorded four power-play goals…Selected as the top student-athlete for men’s hockey by head coaches…Recipient of prestigious Terry Slater Trophy, awarded to the senior whose performance, leadership and dedication on and off the ice during his career had the greatest impact on Colgate Hockey.

Junior Year (2014-15): Took part in 21 games … Missed just 17 games after suffering apparent season-ending injury in November, but returned for final month of regular season and playoffs … Finished tied for fifth on team in scoring with 20 points … Tied for fourth on squad with 14 assists … Also chipped in six goals … Ranked fourth in the nation in faceoff percentage (.602) … One of three Raiders to win more than 200 face offs during the season … Second on squad in plus/minus rating (+15) … Named to All-Tournament Team at ECAC Hockey Championship … Notched career-high four points, including game-winning goal, in 4-3 overtime victory against St. Lawrence in ECAC Semifinals (March 20) … Tallied decisive marker in 3-2 win over Dartmouth in game two of ECAC Quarterfinals (March 14).

Sophomore Year (2013-14): Saw action in all 39 games ... fourth on the team in points with 28 ... finished second on the team in assists with 20 on the year ... tallied two power play goals and a team-high four gamewinners ... recorded 14 points in league play with four goals and 10 assists ... started off the season on fire with four points in the first three games ... had six multi-point games, including a pair of three-point games against St. Cloud (Oct. 26) and Union (Nov. 8) ... had an 11-point difference between his first two seasons with 17 points in 2012-13 to 28 this season ... voted as the winner of the Steve Riggs Award, given to the player who is most known for gentlemanly play and possesses a high standard of ability ... named to ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team ... after the season, invited to and participated in NHL Developmental Camps conducted by the Vancouver Canucks and Chicago Blackhawks. 

Freshman Year (2012-13): Played in 36 games in he first season at Colgate ... posted 17 points on three goals and 14 assists ... two of his three goals came on the power play ... had four multi-point games ... recorded 14 of his 17 points in the final 20 games of the season, including a four-game point streak ... had two assists against RIT (Oct. 26), UMass (Dec. 7) and Sacred Heart (Jan. 5) ... tallied a goal and an assist versus Rensselaer on Feb. 23 ... named to ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team.

Before Colgate: Played last season for the Cornwall Colts of the Central Canadian Hockey League ... tallied 116 points in 77 games (including playoffs) in 2011-12 and was named a CCHL Second Team All Star ... led all CCHL players in postseason points with 20 on eight goals and 12 assists ... tied for fifth in the CCHL in total regular season points with 87 ... finished his junior career with 214 points on 65 goals and 145 helpers in 249 games ... was team captain for the Cumberland Grads in 2010-11 before moving onto the Colts during the playoffs ... two-time CCHL All Star selection and was team captain in 2012 ... 2008 CCHL All-Rookie Team and a 2009 CCHL Top Prospect Winner ... was named the City of Cornwall Hockey Award winner ... attended Sacred Heart High School.
