Senior Year (2014): One of seven players to start all 17 games for the Raiders … Tallied four points on a goal and two assists … Recorded six shots … Recorded a goal and an assist in 5-2 win over Siena … Tallied two defensive saves against Rider … Team Spirit Award winner.

Junior Year (2013): Played in 12 games for the Raiders this season, starting in eight... named to the 2013 Patriot League Fall Academic Honor Roll... recorded five points on the year, with two goals and one assist... scored a game winning goal against Lehigh, and her other goal came in the first game of the year against Rider... registered two defensive saves and four shots on goal throughout the season.  

Sophomore Year (2012): Appeared in 13 games with a career-high eight starts ... scored her first collegiate point with an assist against Siena on Aug. 30 ... tallied her first collegiate goal in a 5-1 win at Saint Joseph's on Sept. 23 ... had a goal and an assist overall.

Freshman Year (2011): Played in eight games for the Raiders ... did not record any points.

Before Colgate: Lettered all four years in field hockey at Mountain Lakes High School … the Lakers are a member of the Colonial Hills Conference and North Jersey Section I … had eight goals and three assists as a senior captain … overall she posted 30 goals and 23 assists in four years … first team all-conference for defense in 2008 and 2009 … All-North Jersey Group I Second Team Defense … second team All-Morris County in 2008 and first team in 2009 … North Jersey Group I All-Star in 2010 … named to the All-Star team for the Colonial Hills Conference in 2008 and Liberty Division in 2009 … named to the first team defense in 2010 by the North Jersey Field Hockey Coaches Association among Group I schools … three-time team MVP … also played basketball and lacrosse for the Lakers.

Personal: Giuliana Kafaf... is the daughter of John and Vincenza Kafaf … born in Montclair, N.J. … has one brother, Gregory, who was a member of the Colgate football team and part of the Class of 2012 … father played football for Colgate from 1978-82 ... member of the National Honor Society … took part in the Key Club and Foreign Film Club all four years and was the Foreign Film Club's President as a senior … also sang in the chorus all four years … part of the Model United Nations and Running & Winning Workshop in 2010, which was presented by local women in politics … was a peer leader as a junior and volunteered for Alex's Lemonade Stand.
