Senior Year (2014): Team captain ... Competed in four of the seven races this season … Registered a season-best time of 20:56.5 at the Albany Invitational, where she finished as Colgate’s seventh-best runner and 82nd overall … Ran another one of her top performances with a time of 25:07.7 at the Yellow Jacket Invitational, where she finished as Colgate’s fifth-best runner and 74th overall … Competed in the Paul Short Invitational Brown race, where she ran a 25:44, finishing as Colgate’s eighth-best runner … Named to the Patriot League and Raider Academic Honor Roll and to Colgate's Dean’s Award List, while also being a 4.0 recipient ... Earned the team's Dorothy Fullam Leadership Award.

Junior Year (2013): Ran in four of the Raiders five meets this season ... Posted a season-best time of 24:24 at the Paul Short Invitational on Oct. 5 ... Also recorded a top performance at the Iona Meet of Champions, when she crossed the finish line in 82nd place with a time of 25:06.20 ... During the Patriot League Championships, she earned the 97th spot with a time of 25:58.71 ... Named the team's Most Improved Player and to the Raider and Academic Honor Roll.

Sophomore Year (2012): Competed in all six races this season ... Ran a season-best 45th place at the Patriot League Championships on Oct. 27 ... Also notched a 56th place finish at the Harry Lang Invitational with a time of 18:47 ... Finished the NCAA Northeat Region Cross Country Championships in a time of 23:15.3 ... Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and to the Raider Academic Honor Roll.

Freshman Year (2011): Squad member ... Did not compete

Before Colgate: A three-year letter winner in cross country and track and field at Staples High School ... She was named captain for Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Oudoor Track and recieved the Coach's Award for both XC and Indoor, and Team MVP for Outdoor track her senior year ... In addition she was named Scholar Athlete of the Year for Outdoor Track. She recieved All-FCIAC awards in the 4x400m relay in 2010 ... Hanrahan also earned All-New England Honors in the 4x800 relay in 2010, and in the 4x400m relay (Winter and Spring of 2011).

Personal: Emily was born in Greenwich, Conn., to Mark and Mary Hanrahan ... She has two brothers, one of which, Devin, graduated from Colgate in 2008.
