Senior Year (2014): Saw playing time in 10 games … Made two starts … Tallied first collegiate point with an assist in 5-2 win over Siena (Oct. 26) … Named to Raider Academic Honor Roll.

Junior Year (2013): Appeared in four games for the Raiders this season... faced Bryant, Ball State, St. Francis University and Harvard, with a majority of minutes coming against Ball State.

Sophomore Year (2012): Appeared in a career-high three games for Colgate ... played against Bryant, Siena and Temple. 

Freshman Year (2011): Played in two games for the Raiders ... did not record any points. 

Before Colgate: Played field hockey four years at Horace Greeley in Section I of the NYSPHSAA and lettered three years … led the Quakers with six goals and five assists as a senior captain … named all-league following her junior and senior seasons … two-time team MVP and was named Rookie of the Year … also lettered in softball and the team has gone 30-9 the past two seasons with her final season happening this spring.

Personal: Katelyn McNamara Francese is the daughter of Frank and Beth Francese … born in Tarrytown, N.Y. … has two brothers … Uncle, John Flannery, is a member of the Colgate Class of 1988 … was part of the student government all four years at Horace Greeley … volunteered as a tutor to underprivileged students in the Bronx, N.Y. … member of the prom committee and was a wrestling statistician for six years.
