Biography

Senior Year (2010-11): Set four new personal bests this season and helped set a Colgate record in the 200 medley relay at the Patriot League Championships ... was the third-leg in on the relay team that posted a time of 1:33.40 for the new record and put them in fifth place in the event ... posted a 13th-place finish in the 100 fly with a career best time of 51.14 seconds ... also had career top times in the 500 free (21.67) and the 100 free (48.10) ... recorded a personal best in the 200 fly with a time of 2:02.62 in a tri-meet with Lafayette and Army.

Junior Year (2009-10): Swam a seasonal best 48.22 in the 100 free, a 51.48 in the 100 fly and a 2:01.24 in the 200 IM  at the Patriot League Championships

Sophomore Year (2008-09): Set personal bests in five events over the course of the season ... swam a 22.20 in the 50 free at the PL Championships besting his former time of 23.65 ... bested personal performances in the 100 free (47.54), 100 fly (51.36), and 200 fly (1:58.45) at the league championships ... set a personal record in the 200 free (1:47.85) at the Nike Invitational at Kenyon College.

Freshman Year (2007-08): Posted career-best times of 54.09 in the 100 fly and 2:08.79 in the 200 fly at the Patriot League Championship ... finished the 200 free in a personal-best time of 1:48.05 at the league meet ... swam the lead-off leg of the 200 free relay in a personal-best time of 23.65 for the 50 free at Boston University ... registered a career-best time of 1:01.03 in the 100 back against Bucknell ... recorded a season-best time of 2:12.51 in the 200 back at Lehigh ... posted personal-best times of 51.39 in the 100 free and 5:05.37 in the 500 free at the Nike Invitational ... swam the 200 breast in a personal-best time of 2:41.04 at Binghamton.

High School:  A four-year letterwinner at Weston High School ... served as team captain as a senior ... named all-state in the 200 free with a second-place finish at Class S, posting a time of 1:49.96 ... anchored the state-champion 200 medley relay, which posted a time of 1:41.45 ... selected to the Norwalk all-area team, the all-state team, and was a Southwestern Conference honorable mention ... earned all-state honors in four events as a junior ... named to the all-Southwestern Conference academic team ... received the team's Captain's Award as a sophomore, and was the team MVP ... was a member of the National Honor Society.
