Senior Year (2010): Appeared in all 30 matches as a libero and team captain ... had a career year on the backline for the Raiders ... recorded a career-high 428 digs, which was second in the Patriot League and her average of 3.77 per set was also second in the conference ... named to the Patriot League All-Tournament team ... after a big senior season, she ranks fourth all-time in digs with 1,209 in four years ... collected double-digit digs in 25 matches ... selected to the Colgate Classic All-Tournament Team ... had 20 or more six times and registered a career-high 31 digs against VCU on Sept. 3 in a 3-2 win at the Penn State Hampton Classic ... had a four-game streak of 20+ digs ... posted four service aces and 20 digs at Lafayette on Oct. 2 ... added 28 digs against Lehigh on Oct. 1 in a 3-2 win ... had 28 more in the 3-2 loss at Bucknell on Oct. 8 ... tallied 22 digs in the 3-1 loss at Albany on Oct. 6 ... connected on 43 assists and had 23 service aces, which was second on the team ... her 43 helpers with third.

Freshman Year (2007): Played in 29 matches as a defensive specialist … picked up a career-high 15 digs in the victory over Rhode Island (8/25) … also had a season-best two aces against the Rams … registered five more double-digit digs performances … had 11 digs in the Patriot League Tournament Semifinal victory over Army … made 13 digs in non-conference match versus Binghamton (10/2) … posted one kill four times … ranked fourth on the team with 1.88 digs per game.
 

Before Colgate: Applegate was a four-year letterwinner for Cannon School in the Metrolina Athletic Conference … helped lead the Cougars to the NCISAA State Runner-Up title as a senior … the Cougars also captured the Metrolina Conference regular season title and the tournament title with a perfect 17-0 record her senior season  … earned first-team all-conference accolades all four years … served as the team captain for three seasons … earned the coaches award and led the team in digs her senior year … played her club volleyball for the Carolina Reign of the Carolina Juniors Volleyball Club … helped the Reign become the first North Carolina team to win a national qualifier when it captured the Colorado Crossroads 2005 national qualifier title … reign also were North Carolina Region Champions in 2005 and 2006 … team earned the North Carolina Region Sportsmanship award in 2006 … also was a four-year letterwinner in soccer … earned first-team all-conference recognition twice … was a member of the National French Honor Society, French Club, and Cum Laude Society … also was a member of the National Honor Society.
