Season Highlights: One of six players to start every game…recorded her first collegiate assist on Colgate’s first goal of the season at Navy (2/28)…played 80+ minutes in the Patriot League semifinals and championship games…season-high 81 minutes played in the championship against Navy (4/17)…netted Colgate’s PK goal in the championship against the Mids…took a season-high two shots in Colgate’s 1-1 draw at Lehigh (3/27)…tallied one shot on goal three different times against Loyola (3/8), Lehigh (3/27) and Holy Cross (4/3).

2019 (Sophomore)

Season Highlights: Strong sophomore campaign before suffering season-ending injury…one of four Raiders to finish with at least two goals…was tied for third on the team in points…netted her first goal of the season at Lipscomb in the Music City Invitational (Sept. 8)…buried the game-winning goal in overtime to lead the Raiders past Vermont (Sept. 13)…registered a season-high three shots and two on goal in home opener against Columbia (Aug. 30).
 
2018 (Freshman)

Season Highlights: Stellar first-year campaign as key midfielder for the Raiders…started all 18 games…both of her goals were game-winners…notched her first collegiate goal in third game of career against UAlbany (Aug. 26)…scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Holy Cross (Oct. 17)…took season-high five shots, including two on goal, in win over UAlbany (Aug. 26).
 
Before Colgate 
Amano comes to Colgate from Ottawa, Ontario where she has proven successful at the national, provincial, club and high school levels. Amano was a four-year member of the Ontario Provincial Team and a participant in the 2018 Canadian National Training program. She earned a spot on the 2017 Canada Summer Games All-Star Team after guiding Team Ontario to a spot in the tournament final. Amano helped lead her Ashbury College squad to a pair of National Capital Secondary School Athletic Association championships in 2016 and 2017 and was named team MVP as both a sophomore and junior. A strong all-around athlete, Amano also played basketball and volleyball, earning MVP honors with both squads. She was a member of her school’s student leadership team and earned her school’s trophy for athletic and scholastic excellence.
