Poppinga finishes with nine saves in goal

LONG BEACH, Calif. - Colgate closed its West Coast swing with a 1-0 loss to Long Beach St. despite nine saves by Ella Poppinga on Sunday afternoon at George Allen Field. 

Statistical Standouts
  • Poppinga's nine saves were her most saves in a game since Oct. 29, 2025, against Boston U. where she also made nine stops.
  • Sophia Ro was the only field player to log a full 90 minutes for the Raiders. This is the second consecutive game Ro has logged a full 90.
Notes
  • Molly Richards, Josie Tunney, and Lydia Thornton were the only Colgate players to log a shot on goal, each finishing with one shot apiece.
