BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After clinching its first postseason berth since 2021, the Colgate softball program added another milestone Monday as
Nora Megenity (Player),
Kelcie McGraw (Pitcher), and
Marina Taveras (Rookie) swept the Patriot League's weekly awards.
Colgate went 4-1 on the week, sweeping Lafayette and splitting a doubleheader with UAlbany. The Raiders hit 13 home runs and broke seven single-season program records while securing a Patriot League Tournament berth.
Nora Megenity | Player of the Week
Megenity powered the offense, batting .500 with a .526 on-base percentage and 1.222 slugging percentage. She hit four home runs and drove in seven runs from the leadoff spot, setting single-season program records in home runs (20) and hits (66). She posted two 3-for-4 games in the Lafayette series, including a two-homer, four-RBI opener.
Kelcie McGraw | Pitcher of the Week
McGraw went 3-0 with a save over 20 1/3 innings, posting a 1.40 ERA with 17 strikeouts and three complete games. She opened the week with a three-hit outing against UAlbany, struck out nine in the Lafayette opener, and closed the series with a game-ending double play to seal a 1-0 shutout.
Marina Taveras | Rookie of the Week
Taveras hit .444 with an .833 slugging percentage, delivering a solo home run in Sunday's 1-0 win over Lafayette. She set first-year program records for RBIs (39) and runs scored (43) and has scored in five straight games.
Weekly Award Highlights
