Head coach Guido returns for year two

HAMILTON - Colgate women's lacrosse and Head Coach Alyssa Guido begin their 2026 season this Friday on the road against St. Bonaventure.

In Guido's first season at the helm, the Raiders finished 9-8 overall and 5-4 in conference action. Colgate fell to Holy Cross in the Patriot League Quarterfinal after securing the fifth seed.

"Excited for our first match up against St. Bonaventure. They compete well in the A10 and it's always fun to start out with another upstate NY team," Coach Guido added. "A lot of new faces for us on the defensive end and we're pumped to get out there and show what this years squad can do"

All three top scorers from 2025 return for 2026 as seniors Caroline Panzirer and Ella Bishara pave the way for Aubrey McMahon posted an impressive 51 points in her first year.

The senior started 16 games for Colgate and led the team in goals (43), assists (25), and points (68). McMahon started all 17 games for the Raiders and ranked second in goals (36) and points (51) on the team.

Meg Cole returns as a captain for her senior season. The Henniker, N.H. native has started 45 of her 48 games played and is a leader on the defensive unit. Cole has logged 46 ground balls, 23 caused turnovers, and one assist so far in her career.
