Panzirer and McMahon Collect Preseason Honors

Raiders voted to finish fifth in the conference

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Caroline Panzirer and Aubrey McMahon each were selected to the 2026 Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Preseason All-League Team, the conference announced Thursday.

Panzirer returns for her fourth season with the Raiders after an All-Patriot League Second Team selection last season. The senior started 16 games for Colgate and led the team in goals (43), assists (25), and points (68). The attacker is five goals from the 100 goal mark and enters the 2026 season 33 points shy of cracking the top-10 all-time in points for Colgate women's lacrosse history.

McMahon returns after a standout first-year with Colgate. The Norwell, Mass. native earned a spot on the All-Patriot League Second Team and was voted Patriot League Rookie of the Week in March of 2025. McMahon started all 17 games for the Raiders and ranked second in goals (36) and points (51) on the team. 

The Raiders were also selected to finish fifth in the preseason poll. Their highest preseason poll spot since 2023 where they were also voted to finish fifth.

Colgate opens its 2026 campaign on the road against St. Bonaventure on Feb. 7. The Raiders first home contest will be on Feb. 14 against Niagara.
