Field Hockey Blanks Stonehill, 3-0

Three Raiders net a goal in team’s win

BOSTON, Mass. – Colgate scored a goal in every quarter except the third to secure a 3-0 road victory over Stonehill. Goalkeeper Kennedy Glinn played all 60 minutes, making five saves to record her fourth clean sheet of the season.

Coach Terrett's Comments
"We are very pleased to have another win, and it was great to see the players bounce back from a tough loss on Friday. After a slow start, we showed our class in the second quarter, playing at a pace that Stonehill struggled to match.

"Olivia produced a nice piece of individual skill to create the space for her to take a shot from the top of the D. Liza then scored her first collegiate goal from a penalty corner move before nice play again by the penalty corner group forced a stroke that was calmly slotted away by Lauren. We did feel that we had more goals in us and felt that we should have scored more, but overall, we were happy to take the win.

"A special mention to Liza Rogers' family, who hosted us after the match, allowing the players to prepare for the journey home."
