Taylor, Nakamoto secure Patriot League recognition

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Regan Taylor and Hanao Nakamoto collected Patriot League weekly honors for their performances in Colgate's 2-0 win over American on Saturday.

Taylor secured both Midfielder and Rookie of the Week recognition after scoring her first career goal and tacking on an assist. The first-year has started every conference game this season and leads the team in point with four this season.

Nakamoto earned Defender of the Week honors after anchoring the Raiders' backline to a clean sheet against American. The senior played 75 minutes and allowed only four shots from the Eagles. Nakamoto also registered a shot on target that was cleared off the goal line. This is the Waldwick, N.J. native's first career weekly honor.

The Raiders are back in action on Saturday as they host Loyola for their Mental Health Awareness Game. Kickoff at Beyer-Small '76 Field is set for 5 p.m.
