NEW HAVEN, Conn. - After falling behind 2-0, a four-goal surge to begin the third period propelled the Raiders past Yale at Ingalls Rink on Saturday night.
Ryan Sullivan and
Easton Wainwright scored 18 seconds apart inside the opening three minutes of the final frame to push the Raiders ahead 4-2 before
Jacob Napier and
Michael Neumeier capped off six unanswered goals for Colgate.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Andrew Takacs was tested early with a series of saves as the Yale University team pressured the net. Despite Colgate's efforts to control the puck, the Bulldogs managed to break through with a goal by Kurt Gurkan at 14:19, assisted by Rhys Bentham and Kalen Szeto, putting the home team ahead. The period concluded with Colgate trailing 1-0.
The Bulldogs broke through at 8:56 when Will Richter scored, assisted by David Andreychuk and Thomas Molson, to extend their lead to 2-0. Colgate responded decisively, with Owen Neuharth finding the net at 13:32, assisted by Luke Malboeuf and Davide Patella, narrowing the gap to 2-1. The momentum continued to shift as Max Nagel scored at 19:29, with assists from Ryan Sullivan and Jacob Napier, leveling the score at 2-2 before the period closed.
Colgate took the lead early in the third period when Ryan Sullivan capitalized on a power play at 17:31, assisted by Tyson Doucette and Jacob Napier. Shortly thereafter, Easton Wainwright scored at 17:13, assisted by Simone Dadiè and Antonio Fernandez, making it 4-2.
Colgate maintained momentum with two more goals, first from Jacob Napier at 8:28, followed by Michael Neumeier at 8:01, stretching the score to 6-2. The Bulldogs responded with a goal by Donovan Frias at 0:49, but Colgate's defense held firm.
The period closed with Colgate leading 6-3, securing a decisive victory.
