BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Sophomore infielder
Analisa Raffaelli of the Colgate softball team has been selected to the 2026 Patriot League Preseason All-League Team, as voted by the league's head coaches.
Raffaelli enjoyed a standout first season in 2025 that earned her All-Patriot League Second Team honors. She finished the year with a .275 batting average, .506 slugging percentage, and .348 on-base percentage, ranking among the team's offensive leaders.
Raffaelli's nine home runs were tied for second in the Patriot League and just one shy of a single-season program mark for a first-year player, while she also led Colgate with 31 runs scored and posted 25 RBIs in 50 games played.
In addition to her league honor, Raffaelli garnered Patriot League Rookie of the Week recognition during the 2025 season and earned a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, showcasing her excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
Raffaelli is a key returner for Colgate as the Raiders prepare for the 2026 campaign. Her proven power and run production will be pivotal as Colgate looks to build on its competitive Patriot League presence.
Colgate was picked fifth in the Patriot League Preseason Poll, receiving 17 votes. Boston University took the top spot with 35 points and five first-place votes, followed by last year's champion, Army, with 32 points and two first-place tallies.
Colgate opens the 2026 season Feb. 6-8 with five games in the River City Leadoff in Jacksonville, Fla.
