As the period concluded, Colgate sustained their attack with efforts from Elyssa Biederman and Alexis Petford but were unable to break through the opposing defense. The period ended with the Engineers leading 1-0.

Emma Beauchamp opened the second period with a goal for Colgate at 17:07, assisted by Sydney Sawyer, tying the game at one apiece. Colgate capitalized again on a power play when Pais scored, assisted by Biederman and Taylor Senecal, putting the Raiders ahead 2-1.

Colgate began the third period with strong offensive pressure, highlighted by Dorothy Copetti's unassisted goal at 16:17, extending their lead. Despite the Engineers' attempts to respond, Farah Walker made multiple crucial saves to maintain Colgate's advantage.

Later in the period, Alexia Aubin capitalized on an assist from Spring to further increase Colgate's lead at 5:17, solidifying their position.
