Raiders search for second league win in Worcester

  • Back on the Road | Colgate is on the road for the second straight week, facing off against Holy Cross for the middle game of a three-game league road trip. Colgate will not play another league game at Andy Kerr Stadium until Nov. 15 (Lehigh), but will host Merrimack next week in a non-conference matchup.

  • Head-to-Head Series | Colgate trails Holy Cross in the all-time series with a 36-45-5 record. The Raiders are looking to snap a five game losing streak against the Crusaders after winning the previous seven matchups.

  • Stearney Strikes | Jake Stearney threw for 344 yards in Colgate’s 21-17 loss to Georgetown last weekend. He became the fourth quarterback in program history to record at least three 300-yard passing games in a Colgate career and first since Jake Melville ’17.

  • Swanson Steps Up | Reed Swanson stepped up with 11 receptions for a career-high 183 yards last weekend against Georgetown. His yardage output bested his previous personal-best 113 vs Richmond, and his 46-yard catch in the second quarter was the longest of his Colgate career.

  • Find Fogler | Matt Fogler recorded a career-high four receptions and 90 receiving yards last week against Georgetown. The first year also hauled in a career-long 36 yard grab.

  • Clutch Hutch | Brady Hutchison tied his career high with eight receptions against Richmond. He made a spectacular grab on a fade in the endzone for his 10th career touchdown. It was his first TD reception of the 2025 season.

  • Moore Targets | Winston Moore hauled in a career-best seven receptions against Georgetown. He racked up 53 yards through the air and added two carries for 11 yards.

  • Paul-Marie Putting on Pressure | Sophomore Paul-Marie Dogui has made his presence in the backfield, especially over the last four games. During that stretch he has three sacks, including a career-high two against Fordham. Dogui’s three sacks ranks fourth in the Patriot League.

  • Winsett Wall | Brock Winsett recorded his third sack of the season against Georgetown. The junior is tied for fourth in the Patriot league in sacks. Along with the sack, he added a season-best three tackles.

  • Run Stuffers | Colgate has not allowed an individual 100-yard rusher since week 1 against Monmouth. The Raiders extended the streak to six games after holding Georgetown’s Savion Hart to just 69 yards on 24 carries.

  • Air Raiders | Colgate recorded over 300 yards passing as a team for the fifth time this season against Georgetown. It’s the most 300 yard passing games for the program since at least 2011.

  • Defender Dane | Dane Picariello recorded a career-high 11 tackles against Georgetown. The senior has 51 tackles on the season and has recorded at least five in each game.

  • Lucky Number 13 | Colgate considers 13 to be a lucky number. The University celebrates Colgate Day every Friday the 13th. In 1817, 13 men met in the frontier settlement of Hamilton, N.Y., to found the Baptist Education Society of New York. They are said to have backed up their experiment in education with 13 dollars and 13 prayers, which is why 13 is considered a lucky number at Colgate.

  • With a win the Raiders would…
    • ...earn their second Patriot League win of the season
    • …record their first Patriot League road victory
    • …beat Holy Cross for the first time since Sept. 1, 2018
    • …move back to .500 in Patriot League play
    • …post their first conference road win since Nov. 4, 2023 (at Lafayette)
    • …notch their first road win at Holy Cross since Oct. 21, 2017
