BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Colgate Football junior wide receiver Reed Swanson was recognized as the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week after a career performance Saturday at Georgetown.

Swanson shined once again with 11 receptions for 183 yards – both career-high marks – to go with a touchdown. His big day, which included a 68-yard touchdown called back due to a penalty, also featured a career-long 46-yard completion on the second play of the third quarter.

The Glen Gardner, N.J., product has now eclipsed 100 receiving yards in back-to-back games. He went for 113 yards two weeks ago against Richmond. Swanson has three total 100-yard receiving games this year after bursting on the scene with 113 yards at Syracuse.

Swanson's 183 yards on Saturday were the ninth-most in a game in program history. He becomes Colgate's fourth Patriot League weekly honoree this season and second offensive player of the week, joining teammate Treyvhon Saunders
