HOUSTON, Texas — Colgate suffered a 12-0 setback in the final game of the Houston Invitational on Sunday, falling to Indiana State after allowing 13 hits.
The Raiders' offense was limited to only four baserunners in the game. First-year Kiley Shelton registered the only hit for Colgate, stretching her hit streak to three games. Through the first five outings of 2024, Shelton is hitting .286, the second-best average on the team.
Mia Edwards picked up the loss against Indiana State after throwing two and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and seven earned runs.
