Two Raiders Land on Goalie of the Year Watchlist

Hannah Murphy and Kayle Osborne named to national watchlist for second-straight season

HAMILTON – Colgate goaltenders Hannah Murphy and Kayle Osborne are two of the 28 netminders selected to the Women's Goalie of the Year Watchlist, the Hockey Commissioners Association announced on Friday.

Murphy and Osborne are named to the watchlist for the second straight season and are statistically among the best in the country this year.

They are both top-10 in the NCAA for goals-against-average, with Osborne placing seventh at 1.33 and Murphy's 1.56 ranking 10th. Osborne also boasts a .941 save percentage, the ninth best mark in the country, while Murphy comes in at 13th stopping .937 percent of the shots she faces.

Murphy was recently voted ECAC MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week back on Jan. 3, her first weekly honor of the season and third of her career. Osborne, the conference's Goalie of the Month for November, has picked up two weekly awards this season from the ECAC.

The duo is back in action this afternoon when the Raiders meet the No. 8/9 Cornell Big Red at 3 p.m. in the Class of 1965 Arena.
