HAMILTON - The Colgate men's and women's basketball teams have announced their 2023-24 season schedules, including 28 combined home games at Cotterell Court during the regular season. 

Men's Basketball 2023-24 Schedule

Colgate's 31-game regular season begins at home against Brown Nov. 6. The Raiders visit the Dome on Nov. 14, looking to make it three straight wins over Syracuse. More non-conference highlights include a three-day tournament in Moncton, New Brunswick, for the Atlantic Slam, where the Raiders face Yale, Weber State, and Gardner-Webb Nov. 17-19. 

December road trips feature games at Arizona (12/2), Vermont (12/9), Illinois (12/17), and Iona (12/21). Colgate hosts Harvard, Binghamton, and Vermont State before conference play commences at the beginning of the new year. Colgate opens its title defense Jan. 3, when the Raiders host Loyola for the first of 18 Patriot League contests during the regular season. The conference schedule features a home-and-home format, where Colgate faces each team twice. 

The Patriot League tournament begins with first-round matchups Tuesday, March 5, at the home court of the No. 7 and No. 8 seeds. The top four seeds in the tournament earn home games in the quarterfinals on Thursday, March 7, before the two highest-remaining seeds host the semifinal-round games on Sunday, March 10. The Patriot League championship is scheduled for Wednesday, March 13, at the home of the highest-remaining seed.

Women's Basketball 2023-24 Schedule

The Raiders' 29-game regular season commences at home against Route 13 Rival Cornell on Nov. 7, before the first road trip of the season at UMBC on Nov. 11. The Raiders head to their first Thanksgiving tournament in the Adeduntan era as Colgate heads to the Miami Thanksgiving Tournament to take on Miami and either Norfolk State or East Tennessee State Nov. 24-26. 

Colgate then hosts three straight home games Keuka (Nov. 29), Georgetown (Dec. 5), and in-state opponent Le Moyne (Dec. 8). The Raiders have 10 days then travel to Central Connecticut (Dec. 18) before playing the final home game of 2023 against St. Bonaventure on Dec. 21. Conference play begins on Jan. 3, with a road bout at Loyola kicking off the 18 game slate of Patriot League contests. The conference schedule features a home-and-home format, where Colgate faces each team twice. 

The Patriot League tournament starts with the first round on Saturday, March 9, at the home court of the No.7 and No. 8 seeds. The quarterfinals round of the tournament takes place at the home court of the top four seeds on Monday, March 11, before the remaining top seeds host the semifinal-round games on Thursday, March 14. The Patriot League championship is slated for Sunday, March 17, at the home court of the highest-remaining seed.

Season tickets will go on sale Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 10 a.m. Seats will be held for renewals until the end of the day on Thursday, Oct. 19. Single game tickets are set to go on sale Wednesday Oct. 11, at 10 a.m.
